FIRST-COVER-500PX

After succesful string of hits on Protection Riddim and World Citizen, Damalistik presents brand new bag of scorchers on the First Riddim. First, because this is the first riddim Damalistik ever constructed. Fans of his previous effort will certainly be familiar with its melody, because the First Riddim is basically a live instrumental counterpart to Protection. Luciano, the roots master, warns against wicked babylonian system in his take named Shabilone. Turbulence chooses another aproach and points out to the dangers of dealing with unruly women. Cutty Ranks personally fell in love with the First Riddim and insisted on recording not only one song, the excellent and unexpected call for environment protectors, but also dj take of the Turbulence piece recalling his numerous combination with singer like Beres Hammond back in the days. No matter of the style, Cutty is still the top ranking dj! Damalistik always loves to work with UK artists (and UK artists seem to love to work with him as well!). General Levy confirms that ´from the day mi born mi a general´, in case you haven´t know. Macka B describes beauty of Jah Rainbow, combination of red, gold and green. Solo Banton reveals his disgust over fake friends in Can´t Believe, the song, that already found it´s way on his last album. Peppery contributes on less serious note with hiss lesson to gals, who love their men. Polyfamous and Jaggy D show, that Damalistik´s instrumental provides ample backing for sensi songs, too. Up-and-coming artist Chevaughn searches for woman of his dream and it´s quite sure, that only few will resist power of his song …
